ADSL is a cost- effective technology which allows high speed access to the Internet and transmission of email over an existing telephone line. ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line) breaks the telephone circuit into two parts - a channel for normal phone use such as voice calls, faxes, etc, and a dedicated data channel for high-speed access to the Internet and provides a continuous, 'always on' connection, unlike traditional dial-up systems.

With ADSL there are no additional telephone call charges levied regardless of how often the service is used. Chambers can budget for charges on an annual basis rather than having to be concerned with unpredictable dial-up telephone bills at the end of each quarter. The ADSL service is provided by our Internet Service Partner, Via Networks.
